With the number of people dead rising over 100,000 it is hard to fathom how you can help. But please keep reading… They have made specific requests that you can help provide.
***The Minister of Health & the General Secretary of Myanmar/ Berma, have given us clearance to send aid in the form of money and goods. They are specifically requesting the following:
- 47 Chain Saws, 1 per province to clear downed trees (47 provinces were damaged by the storm and they are currently using only hand saws.)
- 1 Generator per province
- Medicines & Food
- Medicines and food
- Along with those, we are also going to be send 100,000 Gospel presentation booklets - to show them a way to access hope in Jesus Christ in this time of crisis and devastation.
All the donations received will be administered by our local friend a Baptist Pastor & distributed by the church.
